I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been very silent these days! Unfortunately, I got sick: I don’t get sick often and it’s honestly the worst thing whenever it happens. I become a miserable, grumpy lady that only wants to sleep and watch TV. I spent all my weekend eating soups and drinking juices, consuming a great deal of Vitamin C supplements! I was so sick that I wasn’t even motivated to cook, let alone to post entries and photos on the blog. The highlight of my weekend was the amazing vegetable soup my friend Emilios made for me, and Michalis’ pancakes.
As you must have realised, I’ve started regaining my energy, and since I’m surrounded by juices and Vitamin C to fight the illness, I thought of suggesting a delicious, refreshing juice with cucumbers, apples, strawberries and lime. Apples, strawberries and limes are rich in Vitamin C, while cucumber adds a refreshing taste to the juice. If you add a spoon of Matcha it becomes even more tasty and the juice serves as an antioxidant.
Ingredients (for 2 people)
- 1 cucumber
- 2 apples
- 15 strawberries
- 1 lime
- ½ spoon Matcha
Preparation
Add the cucumber, apples and lime into the juicer (check if you’re able to fit the whole lime in the juicer, otherwise you can add its juice in the end). Add the matcha and stir well, adding the juice in 2 glasses.
Add the strawberries in the juicer and throw their juice in the green juice. You then wait for them to blend while enjoying the juice.
